Many of our clients at Eyenovation are involved in motor sports – making the Long Beach Grand Prix a huge event for us every year. We anxiously await the opportunity each year to showcase our design work to thousands of automotive enthusiasts throughout Southern California.

The city of Long Beach is the perfect backdrop for 200 MPH wheel-to-wheel racing. This year’s event saw a huge increase in attendance thanks in large part to the revamped marketing initiatives on IndyCar.

We worked with the Muscle Milk ALMS team this year to develop their driving suits and crew apparel in conjunction with Oakley Motorsports.

The team put in an impressive performance and won the race decisively despite some pretty stiff competition.

This year’s event also marked the debut of Lotus’ famed Evora race car. Alex Job Racing entrusted the job to veteran drivers Townsend Bell and Bill Sweedler, who sported the apparel we came up with for them.

The iconic black and gold livery made it easy to translate into clothing items. Look for this team to make headlines in 2012 as the march their car towards the front of the grid.

The Long Beach Grand Prix is also famous for the exposition area. Fans flocking to and from their seats venture in and out of the display areas for autograph signings, product samples and more.

Long time partner, Oakley, had their “Square O” Toyota on display along side the surfboard we designed for them to compliment the vehicle graphics. The truck was a real head turner thanks in large part to the wild design.
